Job Description

Fibre Extrusion Production Unit Head

Department: Production/Manufacturing

Job Summary: Lead and manage the fibre extrusion production unit, ensuring optimal production efficiency, quality standards, and safety compliance. Oversee all aspects of synthetic fibre manufacturing processes and team management.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, coordinate, and oversee daily fibre extrusion production operations
Manage production schedules to meet delivery timelines and quality targets
Supervise production staff, including shift managers, operators, and technicians
Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and environmental guidelines
Monitor machine performance and implement preventive maintenance programs
Optimize production processes to improve efficiency and reduce waste
Manage raw material inventory and coordinate with procurement teams
Troubleshoot technical issues and implement corrective actions
Prepare production reports and present performance metrics to senior management
Drive continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing practices

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Polymer Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field
8-12 years of experience in fibre extrusion or polymer processing
Proven leadership experience managing production teams
Strong knowledge of extrusion machinery, processes, and quality control
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
