Fiber Engineer - Drafter & Quality Control Engineer

Role Overview: You will be responsible for performing all aspects of OSP engineering for fiber projects according to requirements and guidelines. Your role will involve designing and drafting the fiber network with an optimal route through feasibility analysis. Additionally, you will work within customer systems to produce a cost-effective engineering design for the construction team. Your focus will be on producing quality products to reduce multiple quality checks. Timely raising queries and concerns related to the project, supporting and ensuring timely delivery of client submittals to meet OTP and quality standards will be crucial aspects of your job. You will also be involved in planning fiber/copper cables to poles and placing underground cables according to construction requirements. Feedback from QCs/Leads will be important for you to improve efficiency and quality. Adaptability to work in any team/project, complying with timelines to complete tasks, and being open to new working ways like automation and process optimization will be expected from you. Furthermore, you should be willing to take on new roles and responsibilities as assigned by managers based on business needs. Attending training sessions, providing feedback, and the ability to explain/recall information when required will be essential in your role.
