Roles and Responsibilities

· The Academic Head of the Pre Primary / Primary/ Middle Wing is a leadership position that requires a deep understanding of education and a passion for nurturing young minds. The individual in this role oversees the academic curriculum, instructional methods, assessment strategies, and overall academic performance of students.

The Academic Head of WeCan School is entrusted with various responsibilities to ensure the academic excellence of the school and the overall development of the students and teachers. The following are the key roles and responsibilities:

· The Academic Head is primarily responsible for maintaining the academic quality of the school. They work closely with the incharges, teachers and students to ensure that the highest standards of education are upheld.

· The Academic Head sets and advances the academic strategy of the school. They develop and implement plans and policies to enhance the teaching and learning experience for students and improve overall academic performance.

· The Academic Head plays a crucial role in promoting English speaking among the incharges, staff and students. They encourage and facilitate English language proficiency through various initiatives and programs.

· It is the responsibility of the Academic Head to input syllabus and exam-related information into the WeCan Application. They ensure that the syllabus is well-prepared and aligned with the curriculum for all term exams.

· The Academic Head ensures that all the CTs and Exam dates are decided in the month of January for the next Academic session.

· The Academic Head actively participates in discussions with the Headmistresses (HM) and Academic Incharges (AI) to contribute to the development of the curriculum.

· The Academic Head guides and assists the Academic Incharges and utilizes the specific skills and strengths of each teacher. They provide support and mentorship to the Incharges.

· The Academic Head ensures that proper trainings/workshops are conducted at all centers by the Academic Incharges. They organize sessions to enhance teachers' skills and knowledge, and they assess the effectiveness of the training through appropriate assessments.

· The Academic Head is responsible for planning various activities and events before the beginning of the academic session. They ensure that the activities are well-documented in the school calendar.

· Ensure that all the centres conduct activities/events/inter house competitions on the decided date as per the calendar.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
