F&B Team Leader

Your day to day: - In the absence of a Manager, conducts shift briefings to ensure hotel activities and operational requirements are known - Endeavour to resolve all complaints during shift and logs all complaints in log book for further follow up - Supervise cash handling and banking procedures - Prepare daily banking and cash flow reports - Establish and instruct staff in cash security procedures - Supervise the maintenance of service equipment - Monitor standards of guest facilities and services - Control stock and monitor security procedures - Assist with menu and wine list creation What we need from you: - It's a physical role and you'll be on your feet most of the day, so fitness is important - Strength with occasional lifting of items up to 50 pounds / 23 kilograms and or push/pulling heavy objects - You might need to bend and kneel to complete some activities - Literacy skills - reading, writing, and basic math's skills - Flexible attitude to shifts - you may need to work nights, weekends and/or holidays - Supervise functions - Supervise outlet service - Works with Superior on manpower planning and management needs - Works with Superior in the preparation and management of the Department's budget Additional details of the company: At Holiday Inn Express, we're all about travel that's simple AND smart.
