APQP responsibilities:
• Development of APQP (Process Flow Diagram, Process FMEA, and Control Plan) templates
part families.
• Maintenance of APQP (Process Flow Diagram, Process FMEA, and Control Plan) templates
part families.
• Creation of part specific APQP document for new parts.
• Updating part specific APQP document as required.
• Annual review and continuous improvement of Process FMEAs.
PPAP responsibilities:
• Development of PPAP documents (ballooned print, inspection templates, and warrant).
Note: Inspection will be completed at the inspection laboratory in Wood Dale, Illinois.
• Assembly of PPAP document.
• Submission of PPAP document.
• Submission of IMDS
• Tracking PPAP requests.
• Tracking PPAP approvals.
Other Responsibilities:
• Support fastener quoting.
• Work as assigned.
Engineering Competencies:
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in manufacturing.
• Minimum 2 years’ APQP experience.
• Understanding and interpretation of engineering specifications (IFI, ASTM, ASME, etc) is
beneficial.
• Understanding of the fastener industry is beneficial.
