Job Description

A Fashion Designer is responsible for researching trends, developing design concepts, sketching designs, selecting fabrics and trims, overseeing production, and collaborating with teams to create visually appealing fashion products. Responsibilities Designing clothes and accessories to meet brief Forecasting and developing new patterns Drafting design sketches Supervising the entire production process Preparing and providing design samples to clients Analyzing and researching new industry and market trends Delivering final product in-line with the company’s standards Testing different types of materials and colors to ensure high quality product Attending workshops, fashion shows and events to upgrade skill Offering ideas and suggestions for collection themes Selecting and purchasing materials and fabrics Requirements Bachelor’s degree from NIFT or similar reputed institutes 2+ years of experience as a Fashion Designer, Costume Designeror internship at a reputed design firm. Familiarity with design software such as Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop Ability to work independently and with a tight budget Strong organizational and leadership skills Impressive oral and written communication skills Ability to present and communicate ideas clearly Highly self-motivated Possessing fashion industry and commercial knowledge Ability to handle stressful situations Excellent fashion sense Research and detail oriented Desire to acquire new skills Creative thinker and flexible worker Share your cv :treesa@bbp-india.com Job Type: Full-time Pay: From ₹18,000.00 per month Schedule: Day shift Ability to commute/relocate: Calicut, Kerala: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required) Education: Bachelor's (Required) Experience: Fashion design: 1 year (Required) Willingness to travel: 25% (Required) Work Location: In person Expected Start Date: 27/05/2025
