Job Description:

Location: Eramalloor, Alappuzha, Kerala (On-Site)
Full-Time | Experience: 2–3 Years

About Us:

Swapna Weddings is a leading fashion and bridal retail brand based in Eramalloor, known for its unique ethnic collections and quality craftsmanship. We are looking for a creative, detail-oriented Fashion Designer to join our team and support our growing design and production line.

Key Responsibilities:Design & Sketching:

• Create hand-drawn sketches for new garment designs
• Prepare production-ready sketches and technical drawings
• Develop detailed design sheets for sampling and production

Fabric & Trim Selection:

• Identify and select suitable fabrics, trims, embellishments, and materials
• Ensure selections align with design themes, trends, and budgets

Product Development:

• Work closely with the sampling and production teams
• Support the development of prototypes and ensure quality of final output
• Make corrections and improvements during the sampling stage

Software & Documentation:

• Use Adobe Illustrator for technical sketches
• Maintain design records, costing sheets, and production details using MS Excel

Who We’re Looking For:

• 2–3 years of experience as a Fashion Designer (ethnic wear experience is a plus)
• Degree or Diploma in Fashion Design / Fine Arts (Mandatory)
• Strong proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and MS Excel
• Excellent hand-drawing/sketching skills
• Good understanding of colors, fabrics, patterns, and garment construction
• Creative, detail-oriented, and able to handle multiple design projects
