Fashion Designer Healthcare Wearables

Role Overview: As a Fashion Designer for healthcare and performance wearables, your primary responsibility will be to create garments that not only look great but also provide functional design and ergonomic aesthetics to meet the needs of the healthcare industry. You will collaborate with textile engineers, product designers, and other stakeholders to design garments that are both stylish and practical for daily use. Key Responsibilities: - Design functional and fashionable healthcare wearables for daily use. - Collaborate with textile engineers, product designers, and other stakeholders to understand use-cases. - Select appropriate materials and construction techniques for product integration. - Create tech packs, mood boards, and garment prototypes. - Ensure comfort, durability, and ease of donning/doffing are integrated into every design. - Assist in user testing for feedback on fit and functionality. - Work with vendors and manufacturing teams to ensure DFM (design for manufacturing). Qualifications Required: - Degree in Fashion Design or related field. - Strong sense of functional design, textile innovation, and ergonomic aesthetics. - Previous experience in designing garments for healthcare or performance wearables is preferred. - Proficiency in creating tech packs, mood boards, and garment prototypes. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.,
