We are seeking a skilled and creative Fashion Designer to join our team in the textiles industry. As a Fashion Designer, you will have the opportunity to showcase your talent and contribute to the development of stylish and high-quality garments. Your designs will play a key role in shaping our brand's image and ensuring customer satisfaction.

In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and create innovative clothing collections that align with market trends and customer preferences. Your keen eye for detail and understanding of fabrics, patterns, and colors will be essential in creating visually appealing and commercially successful designs. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to source and select materials, create technical sketches and patterns, and oversee the production process to ensure the final product meets our quality standards.

The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for fashion and a deep understanding of current industry trends. They should be familiar with various design software programs and possess excellent communication and organizational skills. Creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are also crucial for success in this role.

Responsibilities

• Create and develop designs for our clothing collections, considering market trends and customer preferences
• Conduct research to identify new fabrics, patterns, and color schemes
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including fabric sourcing, pattern making, and production, to bring designs to life
• Create technical sketches and detailed specifications for each design
• Oversee sample production to ensure the final product meets design and quality standards
• Participate in fittings and make necessary adjustments to garments
• Create mood boards and presentations to effectively communicate design concepts to stakeholders

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or a related field
• Proven experience as a Fashion Designer, preferably in the textiles industry
• Strong portfolio showcasing a range of innovative and commercially successful designs
• Proficiency in design software, such as Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
• Knowledge of fabrics, patterns, and garment construction techniques
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹9,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Malappuram, Kerala: Reliably commute or willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (Preferred)

Education:

• Diploma (Preferred)

Experience:

• Fashion design: 1 year (Preferred)
• total work: 1 year (Preferred)

Shift availability:

• Night Shift (Preferred)
• Day Shift (Preferred)
