Job Title: Malayalam Speaking Fashion Designer (Female) – Women’s Innerwear

Job Overview

Evora Retail Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a creative and experienced female Fashion Designer who is fluent in Malayalam and has strong expertise in women’s innerwear design. The ideal candidate will independently handle design development, sampling, market research, fitting, and product innovation for innerwear and related categories.

Roles & Responsibilities1. Design & Development

• Create innovative designs for bras, panties, shapewear, camisoles, slips, nightwear, and athleisure.
• Develop mood boards, color stories, trims, lace concepts, fabric selections, and tech packs.
• Collaborate closely with the sampling team to ensure accurate sample development.

2. Market & Trend Research

• Research national and international trends in women’s innerwear and lingerie.
• Conduct competitor analysis and identify new product opportunities.
• Stay updated on fabric innovations, sustainable materials, and evolving fashion trends.

3. Product Sampling & Fittings

• Coordinate with sample masters and production teams for timely sample development.
• Conduct fit trials and ensure correct fitting as per company standards.
• Suggest corrections and finalize designs and patterns.

4. Fabric, Trims & Accessories Coordination

• Work with vendors for lace, elastics, cups, wires, hooks, and trims.
• Select materials that balance comfort, quality, durability, and cost efficiency.

5. Documentation & Technical Work

• Prepare detailed tech packs, measurement charts, design sheets, and production notes.
• Maintain proper documentation for all styles and design revisions.

6. Communication & Coordination

• Communicate fluently in Malayalam with internal teams and Kerala-market collaborators.
• Coordinate with the marketing team for photoshoots, catalogs, and styling concepts.

7. Production & Quality Support

• Assist the production team in understanding design and construction details.
• Ensure quality standards are maintained throughout the production process.

Candidate Requirements

• Female candidate with 2–4 years of experience in women’s innerwear / lingerie industry.
• Strong expertise in bra fitting, cup construction, elastics, trims, and garment construction.
• Proficiency in CorelDRAW / Adobe Illustrator / Photoshop (preferred).
• Fluent in Malayalam (Mandatory); Tamil knowledge is an added advantage.
• Creative mindset with strong technical and practical production knowledge.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹23,000.00 per month
