Job Description

A dedicated and reliable individual is sought to serve as a Watchman/Caretaker for a farmhouse in Cuddalore, Tamil Nadu. The ideal candidate will ensure the safety, security, and general maintenance of the property, including the farmhouse, surrounding lands, and any assets present.

Responsibilities:

Perform basic maintenance tasks, such as cleaning, minor repairs to the farmhouse and buildings
Assist with the general upkeep of the farm and land, potentially including lawn care, gardening, or other tasks as needed.
Ensure all doors, windows, and gates are locked and secured when not in use.
Monitor and manage utilities (water, electricity, etc.) and report any issues.
Maintain accurate records of daily activities, visitor logs, incidents, and maintenance performed.
Communicate effectively with the owner or designated contact person, providing regular updates on the status of the property and any relevant issues.

Qualifications and Skills:

Prior experience in security, watchman, or caretaker roles, preferably in a rural or farm setting, is advantageous.
Good physical condition and ability to perform duties that may involve walking, standing for extended periods, and light lifting.
Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
Knowledge of Tamil is often preferred for local communication.
A valid driving license and reliable transportation may be beneficial
