Fabricator

Key Responsibilities

· Review technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics to determine the requirements for metal fabrication projects

· Design the layouts and structural design

· Cut, bend and shape metal components using a range of fabrication equipment such as saws, lathes, drill presses and grinders

· Weld or join metal components together using various techniques and methods including MIG, TIG and ARC welding

· Assemble and construct metal products, ensuring that the final product is accurate, functional and meets the required specifications

· Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet safety and quality standards

· Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations

· Regularly maintain and clean all metal fabrication tools, equipment and machinery used in the workshop

· Collaborate with team members including designers, engineers, and project managers to ensure project deadlines and objectives are met

· Continuously develop knowledge of industry trends and advancements in metal fabrication techniques

Qualifications & Skills

· Diploma or equivalent, a certification in metal fabrication or a related field

· Proven experience as a Fabricator or a similar role in a manufacturing / fabrication environment

· Strong technical knowledge of metal fabrication techniques, tools and machinery

· Excellent ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints

· Expertise in welding techniques and procedures including MIG, TIG and ARC

· High attention to detail and accuracy

· Strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot any issues that may arise during the fabrication process

· Excellent communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including engineers, designers and project managers

· Willingness to continuously learn and adapt to new technologies and trends in the industry

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
