Food & Beverage (F&B) Service – Job Overview

The Food & Beverage (F&B) Service professional is responsible for delivering excellent dining experiences by providing efficient, courteous, and high-quality service. The role supports smooth restaurant operations while maintaining service standards, hygiene, and guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Guest Service & Experience

• Welcome guests warmly and ensure a pleasant dining experience
• Present menus, explain food and beverage options, and provide recommendations
• Take accurate food and beverage orders and ensure timely service
• Address guest requests and resolve complaints professionally

Service Operations

• Set up tables, service stations, and dining areas as per standards
• Serve food and beverages following established service procedures
• Coordinate effectively with kitchen and bar teams
• Clear and reset tables efficiently

Quality, Hygiene & Safety

• Maintain cleanliness, grooming, and personal hygiene standards
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation guidelines
• Ensure safe handling and service of food and beverages

Sales & Revenue Support

• Promote daily specials and upsell food and beverage items
• Support revenue targets through suggestive selling

Billing & Cash Handling

• Prepare and present accurate bills
• Handle cash and digital payments as per company policy

Team Coordination

• Work closely with supervisors and team members
• Attend briefings, training sessions, and service meetings

Qualification & Experience

• Qualification: Diploma or Degree in Hotel Management / Hospitality Management
• Experience: Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in Food & Beverage Service in a hotel or reputed restaurant

Skills & Competencies

• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Guest-oriented approach with attention to detail
• Ability to work in shifts and under pressure
• Knowledge of service etiquette, food, and beverage basics

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
