Microsoft Copilot Studio. The ideal candi will have 6 to 8 years of experience, with a deep specialization in building intelligent copilot agents, integrating them with various Microsoft
services (Power Platform, Dynamics 365, Azure), and enhancing business processes. This role requires a blend of strong development skills, conver ional design expertise, and a passion
for leveraging the latest AI capabilities to create seamless and e ective user experiences, while adhering to Responsible AI principles.
Key
- Lead the end-to-end design, development, and deployment of complex virtual agents (copilots) using Microsoft Copilot Studio.
- Develop custom actions and backend integrations using Power Automate and Azure
- services (e.g., Azure Functions, Azure Bot Service) to connect copilots to internal and external systems (REST/SOAP APIs, databases).
- Implement advanced conver ional design features, including natural language
- understanding (NLU) optimization, topic creation, entity management, and adaptive card usage.
- Design and implement Agentic AI work ows, including multi-agent orchestration and reasoning/ ision engines, to handle complex, multi-step business processes autonomously.
- Integrate copilots with various channels such as Teams, websites, mobile apps, and Dynamics 365.
- Work closely with Business Analysts and Stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical designs and scalable conver ional ows.
- itor, test, and optimize copilot performance, analysing conver ion transcripts to identify opportunities for improvement and enhance user isfaction.
- Manage the entire ALM (Application Lifecycle Management) for copilot solutions, utilizing tools like Gi b or Azure DevOps for source control and CI/CD pipelines.
- Ensure all AI solutions comply with Responsible AI principles, including data privacy, bias mitigation, and content ltering, utilizing tools like Microsoft Purview.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to ior developers on Copilot Studio best practices, coding standards, and complex integrations.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for all developed copilot solutions and integration points.
Required Skills & Experience
- 6-8 years of hands-on experience in software development, with a minimum of 3+ years specializing in designing and developing conver ional AI solutions.
- Expert-level pro ciency with Microsoft Copilot Studio (Power Virtual Agents) and its integration capabilities within the Microsoft Power Platform ecosystem.
- Strong experience developing Power Automate ows (cloud and desktop) for complex data retrieval and transaction processing within a copilot.
- Advanced skills in JavaScript/TypeScript or C# for developing custom actions, Azure Functions, and integrating with web services (REST/SOAP).
- Deep hands-on experience with Generative AI (GenAI) features within Copilot Studio, including advanced prompt engineering, grounding with enterprise data (via Azure AI Search/Microsoft Graph), and managing response quality.
- Solid understanding of Azure services relevant to bot development (e.g., Azure Cognitive Services, Azure Bot Service, Azure OpenAI Service).
- Experience with Dataverse and its integration with Copilot Studio and Power Automate.
- Proven ability to manage application lifecycle using ALM tools (e.g., solution management in Power Platform, Azure DevOps/Gi b).
- Strong understanding and application of AI Governance, including data retention
- policies, security controls, and adherence to Microsofts Responsible AI standards.
- (Preferred) Microsoft Power Platform Developer and AI Engineer certi cations.
