Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of Export Documentation
  • Prepare and verify all export documents as per buyer requirements and destination country regulations.
  • Ensure documents comply with international standards, Incoterms, and buyer instructions.
  • Handling Payment Terms & LC Documentation
  • Prepare and submit documentation as per Letter of Credit (LC), advance payment, or open account terms.
  • Coordinate with banks to submit or negotiate documents under LC and ensure compliance with banking norms and timelines.
  • Customs & Compliance Management
  • Ensure correct classification of products using HS codes and adherence to customs documentation and declarations.
  • Coordinate with CHA to complete export clearance and customs formalities smoothly.
  • Handle documents for DGFT schemes such as Advance Authorization, EPCG, Duty Drawback, and RODTEP, where applicable.
  • Shipment Tracking & Communication
  • Track all shipments from dispatch to delivery and provide regular updates to buyers and internal stakeholders.
  • Ensure prompt sharing of shipping documents with overseas buyers for import clearance at their end.
  • Documentation Filing & Record Keeping
  • Maintain accurate and organized records of all export documents, approvals, shipping records, and correspondence for future reference and audits.
  • Support in internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and clarifications.
  • Coordination with Internal Departments
  • Work closely with the production, warehouse, and accounts teams to ensure smooth execution of orders and timely availability of documentation.
  • Verify packing details, weight, and product specifications before finalizing documents.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Logistics, or a related field.
  • 2–4 years of relevant experience in export documentation, preferably in the automotive or manufacturing sector.
  • Hands-on experience coordinating with Customs House Agents (CHA) and familiarity with customs clearance procedures.
  • Experience working with JNPT (Jawaharlal Nehru Port Trust) and understanding of port operations.
  • Strong knowledge of international trade documentation and logistics procedures.
  • Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word) and familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Tally, or similar).
  • Working knowledge of Incoterms, HS Codes, and international trade compliance.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and time-management skills.

Salary: 15,000 to 22,000 per month

Work Location: In Person

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
