Responsibilities:
- Provide technical leadership and vision for the DevOps team, defining and implementing best practices for infrastructure automation, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud security
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to define cloud infrastructure strategy and roadmap, aligning with overall business goals
- Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing DevOps team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning
- Continuously evaluate and improve DevOps processes, driving automation, efficiency, and agility within the software delivery lifecycle
- Maintain a deep understanding of AWS services, IaC tools, and DevOps methodologies to solve complex technical challenges
- Effectively communicate technical concepts to various stakeholders, including developers, senior management, and clients
- Identify and address technical debt within the infrastructure, proactively implementing solutions for long-term maintainability and scalability
Requirements:
- 7+ years of experience in a DevOps engineering role
- Proven experience in designing, architecting, and implementing large-scale, secure, and reliable AWS solutions
- Advanced proficiency in CloudFormation, Terraform, or other IaC tools with the ability to design and manage complex infrastructure as code templates
- Extensive experience with Serverless, Docker, Kubernetes (EKS), and microservices architectures
- Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor high-performing DevOps teams
- Experience with observability and cost monitoring tools
- Deep understanding of cloud security best practices, security automation, compliance requirements (SOC 2, ISO), and incident response strategies
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience with a proven track record of success
