Job Description

Ciklum is seeking an Expert DevOps Engineer to join our team full-time in India. We are a custom product engineering company dedicated to assisting multinational organizations and scaling startups in overcoming their most intricate business challenges. As an Expert DevOps Engineer, you will play a crucial role in a cross-functional development team that focuses on creating the experiences of tomorrow. Your responsibilities will include providing technical leadership for the DevOps team, establishing best practices across various cloud environments such as AWS, GCP, and Azure. You will collaborate with engineering and product teams to define cloud infrastructure strategies aligned with business goals, design and implement secure, scalable, and highly available multi-cloud architectures, lead and mentor a high-performing DevOps team, drive automation of infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and security processes, and continuously enhance DevOps processes for improved efficiency and agility across the software delivery lifecycle. Additionally, you will maintain expertise in cloud services, infrastructure-as-code tools, and DevOps methodologies, effectively communicate technical concepts to stakeholders, and proactively address technical debt to ensure long-term maintainability and scalability of multi-cloud infrastructure. To be considered for this role, you should possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience with a proven track record of success. You should have at least 7 years of experience in a DevOps engineering role with significant leadership experience, along with certifications in AWS, GCP, and/or Azure (Professional Level). Strong communication, collaboration, problem-solving skills, and strategic business acumen are essential for this position. Desirable skills include expertise in multiple cloud platforms, proficiency with Terraform or other infrastructure-as-code tools, strong scripting skills, programming proficiency, deep understanding of cloud security best practices, and excellent leadership and communication abilities. Personal attributes such as self-motivation, self-discipline, strong communication, problem-solving skills, good team player mentality, analytical skills, and attention to detail are highly valued.
