Experienced Software Engineer Java / Python (Full Stack or Back End)

As an experienced member of the Software Engineering team, you will push the limits of what's possible by participating in the design and development of scalable and resilient systems using Java or Python. Your key responsibilities will include: - Executing software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting - Creating secure and high-quality production code and maintaining algorithms that run synchronously with appropriate systems - Producing or contributing to architecture and design artifacts for applications while ensuring design constraints are met by software code development - Gathering, analyzing, synthesizing, and developing visualizations and reporting from large, diverse data sets - Identifying hidden problems and patterns in data to drive improvements to coding hygiene and system architecture - Contributing to software engineering communities of practice and exploring new and emerging technologies - Adding to the team culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect Qualifications, capabilities, and skills required for this role include: - Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability - Proficiency in coding in Java or Python languages - Experience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment - Overall knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle - Understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security - Knowledge of software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline JPMorgan Chase is looking to hire Software Engineers at Software Engineer II and Software Engineer III levels.
