Expediting Trainee

As an Expediting Trainee at FLSmidth Cement, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely delivery of materials, goods, and services to meet project requirements. This position offers a hands-on experience in supply chain management, vendor communication, and project coordination within a fast-paced and collaborative work environment. - Monitor the status of purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of materials and supplies according to project timelines. - Communicate with suppliers and vendors to confirm production schedules, shipment details, and delivery timelines. - Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, delivery receipts, and vendor correspondence for audits and reviews. - Assist in identifying and resolving delays, discrepancies, and issues affecting delivery schedules. - Collaborate with procurement, logistics, and project teams to achieve operational goals and deadlines. - Prepare and distribute status updates and progress reports to relevant stakeholders. - Contribute to identifying process improvement opportunities to enhance supply chain efficiency. - Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field (or currently pursuing). - Strong organizational and time-management skills. - Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). - Basic understanding of supply chain processes is advantageous. - Eagerness to learn and adapt to a dynamic work environment. - Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. - Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.,
