Job Description

Establish and implement a packaging development strategy wholly integrated with Formulation Development and Manufacturing which includes

- New product launches

- Commercialization projects

- Site variation projects

- Cost savings

- Automation

- Standardization and variety reduction

- Quality Improvement and trouble shooting

Ensure smooth functioning of packaging development activities by establishing systems and procedures for commercial executions, technology transfer to production by way of Master Packaging Records, Artworks, Material specifications, change part development and equipment’s development where ever applicable.
Provide leadership, vision and guidance to the team by holding performance discussions, regularly and identifying training needs, encourage opportunities, document performance issues in a fair and timely manner in accordance with company guidelines and procedures, inculcate improvement culture by continuously evaluating competencies and organize relevant training.
To Plan and Prioritize the activities required for all execution at all sites meeting the country regulations and serialization requirement.
Development systems and procedures for design robustness, meeting compliance requirements
Develop strategies for brand protection and track and trace systems
To contribute on the projects for product portfolio maximization, value actions and cost improvements.
To assist in all kinds of Projects wrt Standardization, Optimization, CIP etc.
