Executive Quality Control

As an Executive Quality in the Food Industry based in Madurai, your primary responsibility will be to monitor and ensure product quality throughout all stages of production. You will be required to conduct quality checks on raw materials, in-process items, and finished goods to maintain high standards. It is essential to maintain and implement quality control systems in accordance with FSSAI and ISO standards. Additionally, you will be responsible for overseeing lab testing, sensory evaluation, and shelf-life studies. Proper documentation and record-keeping related to quality parameters will be a crucial aspect of your role. Collaboration with the production team to address quality deviations and implement improvements is necessary. Conducting GMP, hygiene, and food safety audits within the plant is also part of your duties. You will be expected to support internal and external audits, including FSSAI, ISO, and customer audits. Implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for any non-conformities and maintaining calibration records of lab equipment and instruments are also key tasks. The key skills required for this role include a strong understanding of food safety standards such as FSSAI, HACCP, and ISO. Good analytical and observation skills are essential, along with experience in lab testing and report preparation. Proficiency in MS Excel and basic documentation, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities are highly valued. The ability to collaborate effectively with production and QA teams is crucial. To be eligible for this position, you must hold a Diploma or B.Tech in Food Technology, with 1 to 5 years of experience in the food processing or FMCG industry.
