Executive -Purchase (Plastics)

We are looking for a Purchase Executive – Plastics with a strong background in packaging procurement, ideally from the perfume/cosmetics industry.

Preferred Background:

✔ Experience in purchasing plastic packaging materials such as HDPE, PP, PET bottles & jars, tubes, laminates, shrink films, and plastic sleeves

✔ Exposure to working with plastics suppliers

✔ Industry experience in cosmetics, personal care, or FMCG packaging procurement

Key Responsibilities:

Process procurement messages from MRP

Place and follow up on orders with appropriate suppliers

Update order status in the ERP system

Track all pending orders until delivery and QC approval

Identify and manage procurement delays

Coordinate with planning, QC, warehouse, shop floor, NPD, and finance teams

Manage all pre/post receipt documentation

Handle rejections and resolve supplier issues

Communicate delivery schedules and exceptions to the supply chain team
