Qualification Requirement: B Tech/ B. E/ M. Tech Chemical engineers

Experience:

Role & responsibilities

• Ensuring planned engineering (process) progress with respect to the engineering deliverables for Projects, process engineering planning & scheduling, preparation of progress reports.
• Process Design & Detail Engineering including performing process simulations, design calculations, Process Optimization, sizing & selection of equipments etc. Preparation & approval of FEED design & calculations.
• Preparation of various engineering deliverables (Drawings & Documents) such as Process Flow Diagrams, P & I Diagrams, Process Datasheets, Equipment Specifications, Cause & Effect Diagrams, control philosophies, shutdown philosophies, HAZOP Studies & reports, Operation & maintenance manuals etc. and providing necessary engineering inputs to the other disciplines and other departments.
• To ensure proper division of work & responsibility among the process engineers, providing proper guidance & integration of work done, ensuring good, positive & healthy working nature among the team of engineers to ensure optimum productivity & efficiency.
• Preparation & Issue of RFQs, evaluation of vendors quotations, clarifications, Technical Bid Analysis etc.
• Review of vendors documents, drawings, datasheets, specifications, and calculations.
• Review of Technology transfer document & timely providing inputs to Technology transfer team for additional data requirements or trial without impacting the project timelines.
• Establishing the Process at commercial scale with desired quality, capacity & yield.
• Preparation of Campaign Closure report & smooth handover of process to Technology absorption group.
• Evaluate & Lead the Process improvement ideas based on the campaigns learning.

Performing & analyzing the simulation study of mixing, distillation & heat exchanger sizing etc.

Preferred candidate profile

• Conversant with the Engineering Standards such as API, NFPA, ASME, BS / EN etc.
• Hands on experience in software such as HYSYS, ASPEN, MIXIT, VISIMIX etc.
