Role - Your key responsibilities include -
Understanding financial statements P&L + B/S.
To comprehend financial statements and report on variances which look abnormal.
Providing insightful commentary after doing variance analysis.
To do a qualitative review as well as analysis of reconciliations and form an exposure list (like what numbers are going to be taken to P&L, if not resolved).
Taking independent work-related discussions with clients. To excel in this role, you need to have-
Working knowledge and experience in QuickBooks, Intacct, etc.
Sound knowledge of reconciliations both balance sheet and P&L.
