Executive - Order to cash - Invoice Creation

Role Overview: You will be supporting the Client Finance team in all areas associated with project setup, invoicing, and collections. This role will require you to coordinate with the NEC, sales order processing team, collections, and credit management team. You will work in Mumbai (Airoli) and Bangalore during US Shift hours for 8.5 hours/day. Key Responsibilities: - Act as the primary point of contact for any invoice creation related queries - Coordinate with the Retained Organization (RO) to confirm the completion of due billing milestones for invoice creation - Collaborate with the order processing team during order fulfillment - Create accurate invoices based on sales orders, delivery confirmations, or service completion records in SAP - Assist in generating data for invoices, invoice creation, and invoice dispatch - Investigate and resolve discrepancies or errors in invoices, including issuing credit/debit notes if needed - Prepare monthly reports and assist the team leader with purchase support activities - Ensure timely and accurate response to queries and maintain data trackers for monitoring activities - Support collections and credit management teams with relevant inputs for their activities - Work closely with sales, logistics, and finance teams to ensure smooth invoice processing and issue resolution - Uphold a 100% accuracy rate in day-to-day activities to meet Service Level Agreements Qualification Required: - Postgraduate (B. Com/Honors) or a bachelor's degree with relevant experience in OTC Operations - 2 to 4 years of experience for Executive role and 4 to 6 years of experience for Sr Executive role - Strong knowledge of OTC project setup, invoicing, and collection - Working knowledge of SAP Finance module - Experience in shared services/customer-facing environment - Understanding of standard operating procedures - Knowledge of system, applications, operating tools, metrics, and Excel - Good communication skills with good verbal & written presentation skills - Flexibility to work within a high-growth, rapidly changing environment - Ability to self-motivate, initiate change, and work with colleagues at all levels Additional Company Details: NEC Software Solutions (India) Private Limited is a leading provider of end-to-end IT services with over 30 years of experience.
