Responsibilities

• Executing voyage contracts, negotiating with agents, and coordinating berthing, loading, and discharging operations
• Issuing voyage instructions to the Master
• Liaising directly with vessels, Owners, Charterers, Brokers, Agents, etc.
• Issuing and following up on freight and hire invoices with Charterers
• Calculating laytime and preparing demurrage/dispatch reports, including issuing demurrage invoices when required
• Maintaining separate voyage accounts for each vessel
• Overseeing day-to-day commercial operations of ships
• Appointing and coordinating with agents and inspectors regularly
• Assisting in the settlement of disputes with Owners and Charterers
• Maintaining off-hire records and ensuring downtime is minimized
• Planning bunker requirements
• Monitoring vessel speed and consumption, maintaining performance records, highlighting under-performance to technical managers, and ensuring corrective action is taken

Qualification Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Minimum 2 years of working experience in Dry Bulk operations Good command of spoken and written English
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to take on new challenges
• Flexibility and willingness to adapt and learn

Remuneration
