The role based in Satara, MH, IN focuses on Supply Chain operations, specifically in the area of material storage and retrieval process efficiency through effective 5S implementation in the stores area. Proficiency in utilizing SAP platform is essential for this position. Key responsibilities include managing the procurement process for all spares and consumables related to Plant Engineering Stores, ensuring timely servicing of users as per agreed Service Level Agreements (SLA), and adherence to APQS defined processes. This entails overseeing month-end activities such as monitoring Open Purchase Orders (POs), Open reservations, and Open Purchase Requests (PRs). Regular stock taking at quarter ends following established guidelines is required, along with proposing Suggestions For Improvement (SFIs) to enhance operational processes. Timely submission of Management Information System (MIS) reports to relevant stakeholders contributes to effective communication. Collaboration with counterparts at other plant locations to share and implement best practices is an integral part of the role. Self-assessment in alignment with Asian Paints Quality System standards is expected. Creating a conducive work environment within stores involves engaging with fellow officers to support each other in day-to-day activities, understanding their concerns, and providing assistance in areas of need.
