Core Responsibilities

• Visual Display Management:

  Arrange and maintain tile panels displays in showrooms as per company guidelines to ensure an attractive presentation for customers.

• Inventory & Stock Monitoring:

  Track inventory levels at showrooms or dealer points to prevent stockouts of popular collections and manage the replenishment process.

• Promotion Execution:

  Coordinate with marketing teams to implement in-store promotions, update seasonal displays, and ensure marketing materials like brochures and catalogues are available.

• Planogram Implementation:

  Follow specific design layouts (planograms) to position new tile designs, finishes, and sizes at eye level or in strategic zones to capture buyer attention.

Key Skills & Requirements

• Physical Stamina:

  Ability to handle and move heavy tile panels, samples, and display boards.

• Product Knowledge:

  Deep understanding of tile specifications, finishes (e.g., matte, gloss), materials (ceramic vs. vitrified), and application areas.

• Visual Merchandising:

  A strong eye for design and layout to create influential displays that align with current interior trends.

• Communication:

  Interpersonal skills to coordinate with showroom managers, dealers, and the marketing department.

Typical Experience & Education

• Experience:

  Often requires 13 years in showroom display, retail, or building materials (tiles, hardware, or sanitaryware).

• Inventory Tracking (SAP MM):

  Use the

  Materials Management (MM)

  module to monitor real-time stock levels of tile collections across multiple showrooms and warehouses.

• Sales & Order Processing (SAP SD):

  Utilize the

  Sales and Distribution (SD)

  module to track dealer orders, manage delivery schedules for bulky tile shipments, and analyze pricing against competitor trends.

• Merchandise Planning:

  Execute "Open-to-Buy" (OTB) processes in SAP to plan new tile assortments based on seasonal demand and upcoming interior design trends.

• Visual-Data Integration:

  Audit physical showroom displays and update their status in the SAP system to ensure that what is displayed to customers is actually available for purchase.

• Reporting & Analytics:

  Generate performance reports (using SAP Fiori or S/4HANA dashboards) to identify high-moving designs and clear slow-moving aged inventory.
