1. Responsible for maintaining the Electrical Installations/Emergency Diesel Generators such that these systems ensure continuous availability of power supply for plant operation.
2. Ensuring Electrical Safety through out the plant - for men and material
3. Material procurement, inspection and ensuring availability of spares
4. Engaging Contractors, monitoring Quality of service and certification of job completion
5. Ensure compliance to all statutory requirements of TNEB / CEIG and monthly consumption monitoring.
6. Manpower management (Shift allocation, etc)
