Job Description

Perform preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of mechanical equipment such as HVAC systems, AHUs, boilers, chillers, pumps, compressors, and utility lines.
Ensure optimum performance and minimum downtime of critical machinery.
Assist in installation, commissioning, and validation of new equipment.
Coordinate with vendors and contractors for mechanical project activities.
Maintain maintenance logs, calibration records, and equipment history cards as per GMP requirements.
Ensure compliance with safety standards, SOPs, and statutory requirements.
Identify and resolve equipment malfunctions promptly.
Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Monitor utility consumption and suggest improvement plans for energy efficiency.
Propose cost-effective maintenance strategies without compromising quality.
Work closely with production, quality, and EHS teams to ensure smooth plant operations.
Support audits (internal/external) and regulatory inspections.
