We Are Looking For We are seeking a dynamic and adaptable Senior Procurement Manager with strong expertise in supply chain management and purchasing. The ideal candidate will have a proven track records in vendor management, contract negotiations, and procurement processes. As the Senior Procurement Manager, you will report to the Associate Procurement Director to manage the Procurement function for India. a) Procurement Activities Validate user requirements and manage the end-to-end process of floating RFQs, RFPs, and tenders. Identify and develop suppliers based on specific requirements, ensuring alignment with organizational needs. Lead vendor negotiations to secure optimal procurement deals. Conduct cost comparisons, prepare detailed reports, and establish target pricing. Provide informed purchase recommendations to drive cost-effective decisions. b) Contract Management Negotiate contract terms with vendors on a case-by-case basis, ensuring favourable outcomes for the organization. We Are Looking For: We are looking for a skilled Mechanical Engineer to manage the mechanical infrastructure for our hyperscale data center projects in India. The ideal candidate will ensure the cooling and ventilation systems are designed and executed to the highest standards of performance and efficiency. This role reports to the Project Manager or Engineering Lead. Job Responsibilities: Design & Engineering Review: Review mechanical design documents (drawings, calculations, specs) for cooling, plumbing, and fire protection systems. Provide technical input to optimize system design for PUE, water usage effectiveness (WUE), and reliability. Coordinate with consultants and vendors to finalize detailed engineering drawings. Project Execution & Supervision: Supervise the installation of all mechanical systems, including: Chilled Water Plants (Chillers, Pumps, CPM) Computer Room Air Handlers (CRAHs) / Fan Wall Units and Air Conditioning Units DX Refrigeration Systems Water Treatment and Plumbing Systems Fire Suppression Systems (e.g., Gas based suppression system, Pre-action Sprinklers) Conduct daily site supervision to ensure contractors adhere to approved methodologies, quality standards, and specifications Ensure contractors follow approved shop drawings, quality standards, and installation schedules. Coordinate with other discipline engineers (Electrical, BMS, Civil) to ensure seamless integration of systems. Resolve site conflicts and interface issues with electrical and structural teams. Testing & Commissioning: Develop and review Mechanical T&C procedures and method statements. Witness equipment FAT (e.g., chiller performance tests) and SAT. Oversee system balancing, pressure tests, and performance validation of all mechanical systems. Support the T&C Lead during IST for mechanical system failures and resilience tests. Documentation & Compliance: Maintain meticulous records of mechanical installations, test reports, and compliance certificates. Ensure all mechanical works adhere to relevant ASHRAE, SMACNA, and local building codes. Facilitate a smooth handover of mechanical systems to the Operations team with complete documentation. Qualities You Should Have: Diploma or Bachelor’s of Engineering in Mechanical engineering. Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in mechanical engineering, with at least 3 years in data center or mission-critical environments. Strong expertise in HVAC design, thermodynamics, and fluid mechanics. Knowledge of critical cooling technologies and industry best practices.
