Job Description

The Digital Marketing Executive with 3 to 5 years experience should be responsible for implementing, optimizing, and managing digital marketing campaigns across multiple platforms to drive brand awareness, lead generation, customer engagement, and online conversions. The role involves hands-on execution of SEO, SEM, social media, content marketing, analytics, and performance optimization while ensuring alignment with the company’s digital strategy.

2. Key Responsibilities

A. Performance Marketing (SEM & Paid Campaigns)

Plan, execute, and optimize paid campaigns on:

Google Ads (Search, Display, YouTube, Shopping)

Meta Ads (Facebook/Instagram)

LinkedIn Ads, Twitter Ads, and other platforms as relevant

Manage campaign budgets, bids, audience targeting, A/B testing, and conversion optimization.

Track CPL, CPA, ROAS, CTR, Conversion Rate, and other performance metrics.

Create landing pages (using tools like WordPress, Unbounce, HubSpot, Elementor).

B. Social Media Marketing

Develop, schedule, and manage content across social platforms:

Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter/X, YouTube, Pinterest

Run paid and organic campaigns focused on engagement and lead generation.

Monitor trends, competitors, and platform algorithm changes.

Engage with audiences and manage community interactions.

C. SEO (Search Engine Optimization)

Perform on-page and off-page SEO activities:

Keyword research

Meta tags & content optimization

Technical SEO audits

Backlink building & outreach

Improve search rankings and organic traffic.

Work with developers/content teams to implement SEO recommendations.

D. Website Management & Content Updates

Manage website content updates using CMS (WordPress, Wix, Joomla, etc.).

Improve site UX, UI, speed, and mobile responsiveness.

Ensure SEO-friendly structure and content.

Coordinate with designers, content writers, and web developers.

E. Content Creation & Strategy

Develop digital content including:

Blogs, social media posts, infographics

Email campaigns and newsletters

Website content & product pages

Work with creative teams for high-quality creatives, videos, and reels.

Ensure content aligns with brand guidelines and SEO best practices.

F. Email Marketing & Automation

Execute email campaigns using tools like Mailchimp, HubSpot, Zoho, SendGrid.

Create subscriber lists, workflows, and nurturing sequences.

Track open rates, click-through rates, and conversions.

G. Analytics, Reporting & Optimization

Track performance using:

Google Analytics 4 (GA4)

Google Tag Manager

Search Console

Ad Manager dashboards

Prepare weekly/monthly performance reports.

Analyze user behavior, funnel drop-offs, and campaign ROI.

Recommend data-driven improvements.

H. Brand & Reputation Management

Manage online reputation through reviews (Google Reviews, JustDial, social platforms).

Respond to customer inquiries/comments on digital platforms.

Maintain consistent digital brand identity.

I. Coordination & Collaboration

Work with internal teams:

Sales for lead quality tracking

Design for creatives

Development for website updates

Coordinate with digital agencies when required.

3. Required Qualifications

Education

Any Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, Business, Digital Media, or related field.

Certifications in Digital Marketing (Google, HubSpot, Meta Blueprint, SEMrush, etc.) preferred.

Experience

3–5 years of hands-on experience in digital marketing within India.

Proven experience managing digital campaigns with measurable results.

Strong portfolio showing prior digital work (campaigns, ads, SEO results).

4. Skills & Competencies

Technical Skills

Strong command of:

Google Ads & Meta Ads

SEO tools: Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz, Screaming Frog

Google Analytics 4 (GA4)

Google Tag Manager

WordPress CMS

Social media management tools (Hootsuite, Buffer, Zoho Social)

Knowledge of basic HTML/CSS for website updates (preferred).

Experience with Canva, Adobe Photoshop/Premiere Pro is a plus.

SEO ranking improvements and organic conversions.

Email campaign performance (open rate, CTR, conversions).

ROI on digital marketing spend.
