Job Title: Trainee/ Executive Coloured Gemstone Grading Location: Jaipur Department: Gemmology Reports To: Senior Gemologist / Grading Manager Employment Type: Full-Time Job Summary: We are looking for a meticulous and passionate Executive for Coloured Gemstone Grading. The role involves evaluating and grading a variety of coloured gemstones based on industry standards. Candidates with 1 to 2 years of experience in gemstone grading are preferred. 12th pass and any graduate freshers with a strong interest in gemology are also encouraged to apply. Key Responsibilities: Grade coloured gemstones (e.g., rubies, sapphires, emeralds, tourmalines) based on parameters such as hue, tone, saturation, clarity, cut, and carat weight. Use gemological instruments like microscopes, spectrometers, and refractometers for accurate analysis. Identify treatments and enhancements in coloured gemstones. Maintain detailed grading reports and ensure data accuracy. Collaborate with certification, inventory, and quality control teams. Stay updated with global grading standards and market trends. Ensure compliance with internal grading protocols and domestic and international gemological standards.
