Java Production L3 Support Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Production Support

  :
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in Java-based applications.
• Investigate and fix production defects related to performance, functionality, and application stability.
• Manage and resolve incidents by working with the development, operations, and QA teams.
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) on critical production issues and suggest preventive measures.

• Technical Support

  :
• String Buffer

  StringBuffer

  for mutable strings and ensuring thread safety.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to

  method overriding

  and

  method overloading

  in Java.
• Work with

  JDK 1.8 features

  such as

  Lambda Expressions

  ,

  Streams

  , and

  Optional

  to improve application efficiency and maintainability.
• Troubleshoot and support

  Spring Boot

  applications and handle deployment and configuration issues.

• Incident and Change Management

  :
• Coordinate and participate in critical incident management and ensure timely issue resolution.
• Collaborate with various teams to ensure that change requests are reviewed and implemented in the production environment smoothly.
• Ensure that production issues are tracked and reported with proper follow-up.

• Performance Tuning

  :
• Work on Java application performance tuning, including memory management, CPU optimization, and reducing system overhead.
• Identify and fix memory leaks, especially with classes like

  StringBuffer

  , and improve the systems overall performance.

• Collaboration

  :
• Work with development teams to understand application logic and collaborate in resolving production issues.
• Document and share production support issues and solutions with the team.
