Event Planner (Hospitality / Hotel Management Background)

Role: Event Planner (Hospitality / Hotel Management Background)
✅ Key Responsibilities:
• Plan, coordinate, and execute wedding events in coordination with internal teams and external vendors
• Liaise with venues, banquet managers, and hospitality teams to ensure smooth event execution
• Handle client communications, walkthroughs, venue visits, and pre-event planning
• Develop timelines, checklists, and event briefs in collaboration with the photography and video teams
• Support sales in converting leads by showcasing operational capabilities and event expertise
• Maintain relationships with luxury hotels, wedding venues, and banquet teams
• Supervise on-site execution to ensure timelines and expectations are met
Required Qualifications & Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Hotel Management / Hospitality / Event Management
• Minimum 5 years of experience in event planning, banquet sales, or venue management
• Prior experience working in luxury hotels, wedding venues, or event companies
• Strong understanding of South Indian wedding customs (Telugu-speaking preferred)
• Excellent coordination, negotiation, and communication skills
• Highly organized with attention to detail under pressure
• Willingness to travel to event locations or conduct site visits as required
Preferred Skills
• Network with wedding venues, decorators, and hospitality vendors
• Familiarity with wedding workflows, photography timelines, and client preferences
• Basic knowledge of budgeting and vendor cost management
