Job Description

As an Operations Manager at Meragi, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful execution of events from conception to completion. You will be leading and inspiring a team of event professionals, working closely with clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure that every event meets and exceeds the high standards set by the company. Key Responsibilities: - Lead and inspire a team of event professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and support. - Manage the end-to-end execution of events, including planning, logistics, and on-site coordination. - Manage event budgets, ensuring that all costs are tracked and managed effectively. - Source and manage vendors, negotiate contracts, and ensure deliverables are met. - Coordinate with internal teams, including creative, production, and technical teams, to ensure seamless execution of events. - Manage event staff, including hiring, training, and scheduling. - Conduct post-event evaluations to analyze the success of the event and identify areas for improvement. - Provide escalation and resolution support for any event execution issues in the region. - Attend selected in-person and digital events to ensure the maintenance of quality and standards required. Qualifications Required: - Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients, vendors, and internal teams. - Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. - Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. - Proficiency in event management software is a plus.
