Job Title: ETP Plant In-Charge

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced and responsible ETP Plant In-Charge to oversee the operation, maintenance, and compliance of the Effluent Treatment Plant. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in wastewater treatment, environmental regulations, and team management.

Key Responsibilities:

1. ETP Operations:

o Supervise the overall operation of the Effluent Treatment Plant.

o Monitor and ensure proper functioning of pumps, tanks, aeration systems, clarifiers, filters, dosing systems, etc.

o Maintain optimal performance of physical, chemical, and biological treatment processes.

2. Regulatory Compliance:

o Ensure compliance with environmental laws and pollution control board regulations.

o Maintain documentation and records as per statutory requirements.

o Coordinate with Pollution Control Board (PCB) officials during audits and inspections.

3. Maintenance & Troubleshooting:

o Oversee preventive and breakdown maintenance of ETP equipment.

o Troubleshoot operational issues and implement corrective actions promptly.

4. Monitoring & Reporting:

o Conduct daily water/effluent sampling and analysis (pH, BOD, COD, TSS, etc.).

o Maintain logs, reports, and monthly environmental reports.

o Analyze trends and take necessary actions to maintain discharge limits.

5. Inventory & Chemical Management:

o Ensure adequate stock of treatment chemicals.

o Monitor dosage and chemical consumption effectively.

6. Team Management:

o Lead and train ETP operators and technicians.

o Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) and ensure adherence.

7. Safety & Housekeeping:

o Follow and enforce safety practices at the plant.

o Maintain clean and hygienic working conditions at the ETP.

Qualifications & Skills:

· Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Environmental Engineering / Chemical Engineering / Industrial Chemistry or related field.

· 8–10 years of hands-on experience managing ETP operations in a manufacturing or industrial setup.

· Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and wastewater treatment technologies.

· Good communication, team leadership, and documentation skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹800,000.00 per year
