As a Data Manager, you will play a crucial role in leading the development, governance, and utilization of enterprise data systems to ensure seamless and secure flow of data across platforms and teams. Your strategic leadership will enable timely access to actionable insights and support data-driven decision-making throughout the organization. Your primary objectives will include optimizing data systems and infrastructure for business intelligence and analytics, implementing best-in-class data governance, quality, and security frameworks, leading a team of data and software engineers to develop and maintain cloud-native platforms, and supporting data needs across the enterprise. Key responsibilities will involve developing and enforcing policies for effective data management, designing secure processes for data collection, storage, and analysis, monitoring and enhancing data quality and consistency, overseeing data integration from multiple systems, and collaborating with internal stakeholders to meet data requirements and compliance standards. In addition, you will be expected to manage, mentor, and grow a high-performing data engineering team, lead cross-functional collaboration with other teams, facilitate partnerships with cloud providers, conduct architecture reviews, and ensure alignment of data operations with enterprise goals. To qualify for this role, you should hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, have 10-15 years of experience in enterprise data architecture or governance, possess expertise in SQL, data modeling, and modern data tools, and demonstrate a deep understanding of AWS cloud services and DevOps practices. Preferred experience in healthcare analytics or data environments, familiarity with EHR/EMR systems, and strong soft skills such as leadership, communication, and adaptability will be advantageous in this role.
