You are seeking a highly skilled SAP integration and data engineering specialist to support financial systems and related data flows. This role blends deep SAP FI-AP expertise with modern data engineering and API integration skills, ensuring reliable, secure, and scalable financial data processing. Key Responsibilities - Design, develop, and maintain SAP integrations using Gateway/OData services, CDS views, and ABAP analysis for debugging and extension. - Build and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines (Airflow, dbt, or similar) with SQL and modern programming languages (Python/TypeScript/Java). - Implement production-grade APIs, ensuring idempotency, schema evolution, and robust integration patterns. - Manage secrets, CI/CD pipelines, observability, and runtime security for integration and data workflows. - Collaborate with finance, operations, and engineering teams to deliver accurate, auditable, and performant solutions. Qualifications Required - 5+ years SAP integrations: Gateway/OData, CDS, ABAP debugging/reading. - Proven data engineering experience: SQL, Python/TypeScript/Java; ETL/ELT orchestration. - API design expertise: REST best practices, error handling, idempotent patterns, schema/version management. - DevOps & security background: CI/CD pipelines, secrets management, logging/monitoring, cloud-native observability. Nice to Have - Exposure to finance digital transformation projects. - Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure). - Familiarity with containerized environments (Docker/Kubernetes).,
