Job Summary

ETL Automation Tester (SDET)

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute

  automation test scripts

  for ETL workflows.
• Perform

  ETL Testing

  , including data validation, data quality checks, and transformation verification.
• Build and maintain

  test automation frameworks

  using

  Java + Selenium

  .
• Conduct

  API Testing (REST APIs)

  to validate backend services and integrations.
• Work with

  messaging systems (Kafka or similar)

  for data streaming validation.
• Validate data on

  NoSQL databases (Cassandra, MongoDB, etc.)

  .
• Perform search validation and indexing tests using

  OpenSearch / Elasticsearch

  .
• Integrate automation suites into

  CI/CD pipelines

  and report results.
• Collaborate with developers, data engineers, and QA teams to ensure product quality.

Required Skills

• Strong experience in

  ETL Testing and Test Automation

  .
• Proficiency in

  Java + Selenium

  .
• Hands-on experience in

  REST API Testing

  .
• At least

  two of the following skill sets

  :

• Kafka (or other queuing system)

• NoSQL databases (Cassandra, MongoDB, etc.)

• OpenSearch / Elasticsearch

• Good knowledge of

  data validation techniques, automation frameworks, and CI/CD practices
