Job Description

Description

We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join our dynamic team in India. The Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for construction projects, ensuring that all financial aspects are considered and accounted for. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction estimating and will be able to effectively communicate and collaborate with various stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Prepare detailed estimates for various construction projects based on drawings and specifications.
Analyze project costs and provide accurate cost estimates and budget forecasts.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and architects to gather necessary information for estimates.
Review and evaluate subcontractor proposals and negotiate pricing.
Maintain a database of costs, pricing, and benchmarking for future reference.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards in estimates.

Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
5-10 years of experience in construction estimating or a related field.
Proficiency in estimating software such as AutoCAD, CostOS, or equivalent.
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Familiarity with construction methods, materials, and regulations.
