Job Description

The purpose of a Lift Operator is to ensure the safe and efficient operation of an elevator or other lifting device. They are responsible for operating and maintaining the lift, responding to Faculty/Staff/ Students/Others inquiries and complaints, and ensuring that the lift is properly maintained and in good working order. They also often check to make sure that passengers are using the lift safely and properly, and that the lift is secure and safe to use. Lift Operator Role A Lift Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of lifts in a building, ensuring that passengers get to their desired destination safely and quickly. They are also responsible for the maintenance and repair of lifts. Lift Operator Duties 1. Control the speed and direction of lifts 2. Monitor and maintain lift machinery 3. Provide assistance to passengers 4.Respond to emergency situations
