Job Description

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

API Development & Integration (Primary Focus)

Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs using the MV Sharp framework
Build APIs that expose ERP data to multiple platforms including internal dashboards, e-commerce systems, and third-party applications
Work with MV Rest Administrator to handle mapping between PIC subroutines and JSON/XML formats
Deploy and maintain APIs on separate web server infrastructure
Develop inbound and outbound data exchange mechanisms for system integrations
Support API development using multiple languages within MV Sharp framework: PIC, C#, Java, or Python

Technical Skills (Must Have)

2 to 6 years of experience with MultiValue database development (Pick, D3, UniVerse, UniData, or similar)
Strong proficiency in PIC (Pick BASIC) programming
Hands-on experience with MV Sharp framework for API development
Proven expertise in RESTful API design and development
Strong understanding of JSON/XML data formats and transformations
Experience with MV Rest Administrator or similar API mapping tools
Knowledge of web server deployment and API hosting
Understanding of authentication and authorization mechanisms for APIs
Experience with SQL Server integration and data exchange

Additional Technical Skills

Familiarity with C#, Java, or Python for API development
Experience with on-premise infrastructure and web servers
Knowledge of integration patterns and middleware concepts
Understanding of business logic implementation in ERP systems
Experience with version control systems (Git/DevOps)
