Job Description

As an ERP Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the smooth functioning of the University's Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. Your responsibilities will include assisting in ERP operations, managing data, providing user support, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring seamless coordination between departments for efficient digital workflows in academic and administrative processes. - **ERP Operations & Support** - Assist in the day-to-day functioning of the ERP system across various modules such as admission, academics, examination, HR, and finance. - Provide both technical and functional support to faculty, staff, and students utilizing the ERP. - Collaborate with the ERP vendor/IT team to resolve system issues and implement updates effectively. - **Data Management & Reporting** - Ensure the accurate entry, validation, and updating of data within the ERP. - Generate routine and customized reports tailored to departmental requirements. - Support in maintaining data security, integrity, and confidentiality within the system. - **Training & User Assistance** - Conduct training sessions and offer guidance to ERP users in different departments. - Create user manuals, help documents, and FAQs to facilitate smooth adoption of the system. - Act as the primary point of contact for ERP-related queries and troubleshooting. - **System Enhancement & Feedback** - Assist in the testing of new modules, upgrades, or enhancements within the ERP. - Gather feedback from users and escalate issues for prompt resolution. - Propose recommendations for workflow automation and efficiency improvements. **Desired Qualifications & Skills** - Graduate/Postgraduate degree in Computer Applications, Information Technology, or a related field. - Familiarity with ERP systems, with a preference for experience in educational ERP, and database management. - Basic knowledge of SQL, MS Excel, and reporting tools. - Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities. - Effective communication, documentation, and coordination skills. In this role, you will be expected to be detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in data handling. You should demonstrate the ability to work well under pressure, meet deadlines, and collaborate effectively with team members. Being adaptable to new technologies and showing a commitment to continuous learning are key attributes we are looking for in potential candidates. This is a full-time, permanent position with benefits including health insurance and work-from-home flexibility. The job location is in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, and candidates are expected to either commute reliably or plan to relocate before starting work. Prior experience of at least 1 year in ERP is preferred for this role.,
