As a valuable member of the warehouse team, your primary responsibility will be to ensure control and management of the ASRS (Automatic Storage and Retrieval System), AGV system, and Picking Robots. Your role is crucial in maintaining the correct flow of materials and guaranteeing fault-less operation in various areas such as picking, dispatch, and receipt processes. You will be entrusted with managing the synchronization and interaction between SAP and the ASRS, along with other related systems. It will be your duty to participate in and lead improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing the efficiency, effectiveness, and productivity of the ASRS. This includes managing faults, implementing new projects, ensuring safety protocols, optimizing storage, and staying updated on trends related to the system and its components such as AGVs, racks, mobile devices, conveyors, and robots. In addition to overseeing the third-party maintenance team, you will collaborate closely with the Warehouse team to ensure that activities are aligned with the plant and customer requirements. Your role will involve ensuring error-free operations and conducting essential troubleshooting of equipment in the warehouse to guarantee the timely delivery of materials to both internal and external customers. On a day-to-day basis, you will be responsible for ensuring the correct functionality of the ASRS in various processes such as shipping, receiving, picking, and supply to production. You will also manage the integration and optimization of the company's different platforms with the ASRS to facilitate seamless communication within the system. Moreover, you will be in charge of training warehouse personnel on research processes, root cause analysis, and data traceability to identify and resolve ASRS faults efficiently. You will create procedures and work aids for associates and general personnel on the proper handling and usage of the ASRS, AGV, Robots, and related sub-systems. Furthermore, your role will involve owning the control room to ensure equipment uptime, generating reports, resolving faults, and ensuring the timely delivery of materials. You will also coordinate with the ground operations team to maintain inventory hygiene, prioritize tasks for automated systems, and ensure timely delivery or calling of manual commands. Your contribution to the development of new ASRS functionalities, design changes, improvements, and tests will be highly valued. Additionally, you will participate in global benchmarking platforms to enhance the automation of the company's ASRS or related systems for the plant. Compliance with Food Safety guidelines, Integrated Management System, KORE Corporate Standards, and other legal requirements will be essential. You will also be responsible for generating reports on team missions, analyzing productivity, and proposing opportunities for improvement in various processes. Overall, your role will be critical in ensuring the smooth operation of the ASRS and related systems, maintaining high performance indicators, and driving continuous improvement in warehouse operations.
