Qualifications Required: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or ITI (Mechanical Trade) Experience Required: Minimum 15 years of hands-on experience in Service & Maintenance Domain expertise in Asphalt Plants , Concrete Batching Plants , Heavy Earthmoving Machinery , or similar equipment used in Road & Infrastructure Projects Key Competencies & Skills: In-depth understanding of mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and electronic systems used in batching and construction plants Proven ability in diagnosing faults , conducting root cause analysis , and resolving complex equipment breakdowns Familiarity with spare parts planning , preventive maintenance , and field support operations Customer-oriented problem-solving mindset with strong interpersonal and communication skills Capable of leading and mentoring service teams , allocating resources efficiently, and managing field operations Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word , and basic computer usage for service documentation and reporting Readiness to travel frequently to client sites and project locations Job Responsibilities: Provide technical support and hands-on service for Asphalt Plants, Batching Plants, and heavy machinery across multiple client sites Conduct root cause analysis and corrective actions for equipment breakdowns and performance issues Manage, guide, and expand the field service team to ensure high-quality service delivery Evaluate and forecast spare part needs and coordinate timely availability for field teams Identify and pursue service-related business opportunities such as: Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMCs) Equipment Reconditioning Programs On-demand and preventive service packages Actively participate in internal strategy meetings and contribute toward growth planning Maintain clear and timely service documentation , reports, and MIS data Build strong relationships with clients, OEMs, and vendors to ensure effective service coordination Other Requirements: Must be physically fit and prepared for frequent field travel Should possess leadership qualities with a proactive and independent working style Reporting directly to the Director Preferred Candidate Profile: Demonstrated success in field service operations , especially for road construction machinery Prior experience in managing service teams , vendor coordination, and customer interaction Strong understanding of equipment uptime , service KPIs , and customer satisfaction metrics Only candidates with deep field service experience in infrastructure machinery will be considered.
