Epic Owner

As an Epic Owner for sustainable transport and infrastructure solutions, your mission is to cross-functionally support the Vehicle/Technology stream deliveries of verified & validated components, systems & functions (HW/SW) according to the agreed Epic description and acceptance criteria. This involves managing interfaces with other Vehicle/Technology streams, sub-streams, and teams, as well as coordinating the cross-functional GTX deliverables. Your responsibilities include detecting and proposing improvements to the epic description based on the roadmap, ensuring complete product delivery according to the epic description, planning the right sequence of milestones, aligning them with concerned parties cross-functionally, facilitating Epic breakdowns into a sequence of capabilities meeting the milestones, synchronizing capabilities to ensure milestones are met, and escalating when needed with the product owners. You will also support and communicate across organizational boundaries to safeguard the complete Epic delivery. To excel in this role, you should have experience in coordinating portfolio epics through the portfolio Kanban system, developing business cases, working with key stakeholders on the selected Agile Release Train, and utilizing agile methods such as SCRUM, KANBAN, and SAFe framework. Additionally, experience in SW project lifecycle development and Project Management is required. Collaboration, effective communication, action-oriented approach, managing complexity, resilience, building networks, and driving results are key competencies expected from you.
