Job Description

As an Environmental & Sustainability Specialist at NES Fircroft, you will play a crucial role in shaping a greener future by implementing impactful sustainability strategies. Your responsibilities will include: - **Sustainability Strategy**: - Develop and execute comprehensive sustainability initiatives aligned with corporate values and global environmental standards. - Identify key impact areas, set measurable targets, and ensure compliance with global ESG frameworks. - **Data & Reporting**: - Collect, analyze, and report environmental performance data, including carbon emissions, energy usage, and waste management. - Prepare ESG disclosures and sustainability reports for internal and external stakeholders. - **Compliance & Audits**: - Ensure compliance with local and international environmental regulations. - Support environmental audits, maintain documentation, and implement corrective actions as required. - **Stakeholder Engagement**: - Collaborate with internal departments, suppliers, and regulatory bodies to promote sustainable practices. - Lead awareness campaigns and sustainability workshops to foster a culture of environmental responsibility. - **Risk Assessment**: - Conduct environmental risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to minimize ecological footprint and ensure business continuity. - **Innovation & Research**: - Stay updated on industry trends by researching new technologies, materials, and methods to enhance sustainability performance. - Recommend and pilot innovative solutions. - **Training & Awareness**: - Design and deliver training programs to educate employees on sustainability practices, environmental compliance, and corporate responsibility. - **Project Management**: - Lead or support green projects such as energy efficiency upgrades, waste reduction programs, and sustainability certifications. **Qualifications Required**: - Education: A degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Environmental Engineering, or related field. Certifications in ESG or sustainability reporting are advantageous. - Experience: 3-5 years of experience in environmental compliance, sustainability program management, or ESG reporting. - Skills: Strong analytical skills, familiarity with sustainability frameworks like GRI, CDP, SASB, or ISO 14001, and proficiency in data analysis tools. - Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for presenting complex data to diverse audiences. - Mindset: Proactive, detail-oriented, and passionate about driving positive environmental change.
