Job Description

As an Environment / Sustainable Offer Specialist at Schneider Electric, your role will involve ensuring processes, systems, compliance, reporting, and technology solutions for Scope 1, 2, & 3 emissions, and CO2 emissions from products. Your responsibilities will include: - Verifying the quality of Product Environmental Profile (PEP) and Life Cycle Assessment (LCA). - Supporting design teams in eco-designing offers to minimize environmental impact and bring savings to customers. - Assisting product owners in selecting appropriate environmental marketing claims to comply with standards and policies. - Coordinating efforts to remove restricted substances from products/offers. - Managing environment data in IT systems and assisting customers with environment-related inquiries. - Providing leadership and guidance on eco-design guidelines to junior engineers. - Establishing and maintaining liaison between engineering and other departments to evaluate sustainability criteria. - Monitoring and reporting progress to the immediate supervisor and development team. - Ensuring business activities align with company values, policies, and ethics codes. - Participating in the publication of sustainable information for customers. In order to excel in this role, you should: - Possess the ability to utilize group tools and processes for Product Life Cycle Analysis (LCA) and environmental compliance analysis. - Identify restricted or authorized substances in products as per relevant regulations. - Have experience in product development and project delivery using Agile methodology. - Collaborate with innovation/design teams for sustainable innovation and interface with clients to support customer requests. - Demonstrate adaptability to changing priorities and strong communication and presentation skills. - Be a team player actively contributing in meetings and discussions. - Show interest in working with Power products and Systems domain and technologies. - Be capable of independent work with minimal support. Qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelor/Masters degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Material Science. - 3-6 years of working experience.
