Job Description

You will be part of Schneider Electric's Power Monitoring business unit as an Environment / Sustainable Offer Specialist based in Attibele, Bengaluru. Your role will focus on ensuring processes, systems, compliance, reporting, and technology solutions related to Scope 1, 2, & 3 emissions and CO2 emissions from products. Here are your key responsibilities: - Verify the quality of Product Environmental Profile (PEP) and Life Cycle Assessment (LCA). - Support design teams in eco-designing offers to reduce environmental impact and bring savings to customers. - Assist product owners in selecting appropriate environment marketing claims and ensure compliance with standards and SE policy. - Coordinate efforts to eliminate restricted substances from products/offers. - Manage environment data in IT systems and respond to customer requests for environment information. - Provide leadership and guidance on eco-design guidelines to junior engineers. - Liaise between engineering and other departments to define and evaluate sustainability criteria. - Monitor and report progress to the immediate supervisor and development team. - Ensure all business activities align with company values, policies, and ethics codes. - Participate in publishing sustainable information for customers. - Undertake any other activities as requested by management. To excel in this role, you should: - Learn and utilize group tools and processes for Product Life Cycle Analysis (LCA) and product environment profiles (PEP). - Identify restricted or authorized substances in products per regulations like REACH, RoHS, TSCA, POP, etc. - Have experience in product development and familiarity with Agile methodology. - Collaborate with innovation/design teams for sustainable innovation. - Possess strong communication and presentation skills. - Be a proactive team player who can contribute effectively in meetings and discussions. - Have an interest in Power products and Systems domain and technologies. - Be capable of working independently with minimal support. Qualifications: - Bachelor/Masters degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Material Science - 3-6 years of working experience As an Environment / Sustainable Offer Specialist at Schneider Electric, you will play a crucial role in driving environmental sustainability within the Power Monitoring business unit.,
